POSITION OVERVIEW:
Newprint™, a leading Canadian company specializing in commercial printing services and retail product packaging, seeks a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Representative to join our dynamic team.
- As a Sales Representative, you will drive sales, close deals, and provide exceptional customer service to clients in the retail product packaging and commercial printing industry.
- The successful candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the retail product packaging or commercial printing industry.
- Strong knowledge in paper. Book Paper and Folding Board carton paper.
- Strong creative mindset in dieline creations and tools such as Artios CAD, EngView and similar CAD applications.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to succeed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Availability to respond to customer inquiries and quotes 7 days a week, with high responsiveness and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Knowledge of the retail product packaging and commercial printing industry, including an understanding of printing processes, materials, and design principles.

Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities by prospecting and identifying potential clients in the retail product packaging and commercial printing sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of Newprint’s commercial printing and retail product packaging solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique requirements and develop customized proposals and quotes.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale, aiming to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives, consistently maximizing revenue and profitability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the production and design teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline using the company’s CRM system.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to represent Newprint™ and promote our products and services.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills through training programs and self-study.
