We are looking for a Data Privacy Analyst (m/f/d) for our location in Rodenbach (Kaiserslautern district) or Frankfurt am Main. The position is open-ended and full-time.
The Privacy Analyst is a member of the global Data Privacy Office (DPO), is the local representative internally and externally, and helps develop and implement the global privacy framework at the Fisher group of companies (Fisher Group). The DPO helps the business align with data privacy requirements across the EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia, Japan (and more). The Privacy Analyst works with colleagues throughout the Fisher Group in every location, which provides the opportunity to build relationships across the organisation. The Privacy Analyst partners with the business to help oversee the management of data privacy issues and answers inquiries to the DPO.

Responsibilities:
Please note; responsibilities for this role may evolve over time as the department matures. Some may be emphasised more during the initial development and others on an ongoing basis.
- Supporting the functions of the DPO
- Contact person for both the employer and the employees
- Contact person for the German Data Protection Regulators
- Preparation of data protection documentation in compliance with the relevant regulations
- Data Breach Management
- Work within a global privacy programme and team, working closely with our U.S.-based parent company and UK-based global Data Protection Officer, and liaising with the Fisher Group global business partners
- Convey privacy concepts and promote data protection, including through education, awareness of data protection guidelines, announcements, etc.
- Research privacy topics based on inquiries which may include new or multinational privacy regulations
- Provide input, oversight, review, assessment and appropriate challenge of risk including on business activities
- Oversee and prepare reports and insights to support decisions by senior management and other business unit leaders
- Help develop and implement proposed solutions to improve the efficiency and maturity of the team and other departments
- Complete different projects in collaboration with management
