Description:
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
BA/BS degree in legal or information technology field, or equivalent technology/business management related degree
7+ years of applicable work experience in data privacy, information technology, or cybersecurity field; Advanced degree preferred.
Strong working knowledge and understanding of data privacy laws and regulations,
Excellent attention to detail with great time management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a global team across multiple time zones.
Demonstrated ability to assess complex issues through root cause analysis and other analytical techniques; structure potential solutions; drive to resolution with senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects efficiently while maintaining flexibility as priorities shift. Demonstrated persistence in arriving at solutions.
Ability to challenge senior management and escalate issues when appropriate.

The Role: Privacy Compliance Manager – S&P Global Market Intelligence
The Impact: This role will lead S&P Global Market Intelligence’s data privacy function, working across the business to operationalize a comprehensive privacy framework, and investigating privacy-related incidents and breaches. The Privacy Compliance Manager will take the lead role in ensuring compliance to Division’s data privacy policies and procedures and continuously monitor S&P Global Market Intelligence’s privacy framework to identify gaps and enhance existing knowledge of information privacy and impact functions across the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing advisory services to privacy-related business inquiries
Conducting privacy-related assessments on the Market Intelligence business on an ongoing basis on new initiatives, new and existing products, acquisitions, with respect to applicability of privacy-related policies and regulations
Working on cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risk associated with global privacy, data protection, and data governance
Analysing and scoping the impact including applicability of new regulatory developments across Market Intelligence’s products and services, including cross-border impact
Reporting on data privacy risk posture of the MI business and developing control enhancements to remediate existing gaps
Providing oversight and guidance over the assessment of complex privacy-related issues, while structuring effective solutions with other stakeholders
Managing divisional incident responses, tracking, and understanding lessons learned
Monitoring compliance with privacy requirements, policies, and procedures
Managing privacy vendor due diligence controls in partnership with the Procurement Team
Managing and responding data subject requests program for the Division
Assisting in the development and administration of privacy compliance training for the Division
