Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Allianz Australia Privacy Compliance Program, including assisting in the upkeep and improvement of the privacy ecosystem, framework policies and procedures. Obligation management, program compliance reporting and monitoring, regulatory interactions, and assistance with privacy incident and breach management is also part of the Privacy Manager role..
  • Providing Specialist advice and support on privacy compliance to all business divisions and support the divisions in the completion of privacy impact and risk assessments for a broad range of privacy related activities.
  • Providing support to the Privacy Champions network across all business divisions and in developing and managing regular network events, materials, and activities.
  • Promoting privacy compliance across the business by developing materials, conducting awareness sessions and workshops about our obligation and risk management activities.
  • Assisting the data privacy officer (DPO) in managing strategic activities privacy stakeholder relationships, including with Group Privacy and the relevant privacy regulators included the OAIC.
