Description:

WHO YOU ARE

  • 2+ years’ experience in privacy, data breach management
  • Expertise in cyber defence, data loss prevention;
  • Good understanding of global privacy landscape in technology, telecommunication and online businesses;
  • Excellent command of English, and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and public speaking skills;
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organisation with tolerance for ambiguity. Persistence to drive change over time;

Responsibilities:

Working to protect the privacy of more than 500 million Vodafone customers and 150,000 employees, Vodafone Group Privacy team, a function under Vodafone Group Legal, oversees Vodafone’s global Privacy Programme and ensures its implementation within Vodafone Group. Joining us as a Privacy Operations Manager, you can be part of our award winning, empowering privacy function, working on cutting edge privacy matters. You will be expected to soundly perform fact gathering, analysis of privacy issues and driving privacy compliance controls on a day-to-day basis, as well as developing best practice templates, patterns, guidance and continuously improve processes.

  • Providing privacy advice and support to Cyber Security and Corporate Security incident and investigation managers on data breach management
  • Participating and contributing to incident management meetings and post incident reviews
  • Conducting risk assessments on confirmed personal data breaches and provide advice and support for coordinating contractual and regulatory notifications to Data Protection Officers.
  • Primary interface for Data Subject Requests and other such requests for Vodafone Group staff; Liaising with various teams (incl Forensics, Litigation, Privacy Council, Employee Relations) to conclude DSR within regulatory timelines.
