1. Key Responsibilities1.1 To be responsible for the management of resources involved with Contingent Workforce, such as private ambulance services, agencies, and taxi companies.1.2 Ensure the delivery of all service KPIs, including shift fill rates, onboarding timeframes, and external provider staffing plans.1.3 To be responsible for the leadership of third-party provision, and maintaining the appropriate records in accordance with Trust policy.1.4 Contribute to the operational strategy by planning capacity to meet demand, resulting in improved quality of patient care and outcomes, and achievement of the Trusts performance objectives.1.5 To directly manage key aspects of the private provider contracts, including quality and information. Ensuring that all providers have in place appropriate appraisal, development, and education plans, and that training and development activity is undertaken, always being mindful of minimising risks to the Trust.1.6 Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify and plan for fluctuations in demand for resources, developing strategies in relation to risks and issues.1.7 Evaluate performance and prepare plans for capacity reviews to ensure the agreed levels of capacity are delivered.1.8 Manage and maintain all system parameters for production schedule, and monitor for effectiveness.1.9 Facilitate/develop annual strategic business plans.1.10 Promote Trust wide awareness of national and local developments in third-party workforce.1.11 Undertake ad hoc project work, including researching, compiling, analysing and presenting complex, sensitive, or contentious data in a variety of formats.1.12 Able to travel to various bases throughout the region, when required Further responsibilities are detailed in the full Job Description attached
