JOB DESCRIPTION

Over a span of two years, you will be exposed to various aspects of the entire fund management process across critical functions:

1) Research Analyst

  • Conducting investment due diligence (including industry research, financial analysis, valuation, competitive benchmarking, etc.)
  • Formulating fund strategy and ideas
  • Composing newsletters
  • Presenting to the investment committeeMonitoring portfolios
  • Providing ongoing updates to investors.

2) Operations

  • Managing fund launches
  • Overseeing banking operations
  • Reporting net asset value (NAV) and cash flows
  • Reviewing investment agreements
  • Facilitating investor onboarding
  • Processing divestments and distributions
  • Maintaining internal registers
  • Engaging with clients
  • Coordinating with auditors Tax and legal advisors, trustees, fund administrators, custodians, and US counterparts, among others.

3) Compliance:

  • Handling regulatory filings
  • Conducting periodic Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews
  • Responding to Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) surveys
  • Conducting ad-hoc incident reviews
  • Monitoring controls
  • Reviewing risk frameworks and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (minimum second class upper division and/or a CGPA of 3.0 or higher)
  • 2-3 years experience in banking & finance, advisory, investments, or consulting
  • Deep interest and passion for investments, demonstrating proactivity and teamwork in a dynamic environment
  • Possess a global perspective with robust analytical abilities and a strong financial acumen
