Private Equity Investment Analyst / Manager

WorxInvest is looking to strengthen its investment team with an Investment Analyst/Manager. As an Analyst/Manager, you will be part of our Antwerp-based team of 2 Investment Directors and 2 Investment Managers. You will be working alongside the investment team and be involved in most aspects of our day-to-day work for both direct (DI) and fund investments (FI).

You will work together with the Investment Managers on:

• Mapping of potential target companies and funds in specific sectors, strategies and geographies
• Analysis of diligence materials in the context of direct and indirect investments
• Monitoring the existing portfolio of alternative investments

Lead generation

• Research company & transaction databases to create company and fund profiles, and present to the investment team
• Map markets and sub-sectors to identify potential investment opportunity areas, with a focus on (i) the Benelux area for direct investments and (ii) pan-Europe/North-America for fund investments, and update funnel accordingly
• Prepare first screenings of selected targets to present to the respective Committees

Deal execution DI

• Analyze financials and valuation of potential acquisition targets
• In-depth research on strategy, market dynamics and competition of potential targets
• Support the team during due diligence, negotiations and contract work for ongoing deals

Deal execution FI

• Review and analyze the information provided in the fund due diligence materials
• Support the team during the full due diligence process and preparation of on-site meetings and investment memos

Portfolio

• Monitor the performance of existing participations and assist in the implementation of their growth strategy
• Monitor the fund investments portfolio based on quarterly reports and investor meetings
• Ad-hoc analyses for existing portfolio companies (add-on acquisitions, sector trends, etc.)
• Assist the SD Worx teams on corporate finance topics
