JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Assistant Vice President for Product Management to Private Equity & Real Estate Technology, you will lead a dynamic team of product and business analysts in designing, building, deploying, testing, and supporting applications and related services hosted on AWS. Your role will be instrumental in transforming the alternative asset management industry through innovative technology solutions. Collaborating with business stakeholders, you will drive business value while ensuring the delivery of high-quality processes, data, and reporting. You will tackle a variety of problems from scaling out infrastructure to promoting business efficiency through automating business processes. You will devise elegant solutions to Blackstone’s most important problems and put your own best ideas to work in an entrepreneurial environment inside one of the world’s most successful companies.
Our internal applications leverage a highly scalable microservices architecture deployed on cloud-hosted containerized environment. Key technologies and applications in our stack include NextJS/React, FastAPI, Python, Sigma, Tableau, DealCloud, AWS services and tools, and data
warehouse solutions like Snowflake.

Qualifications :

• 6+ years of Product and Business Analyst experience, displaying technical expertise, leadership, strategic vision, and successful project and team management.
• Proven ability to partner with business stakeholders at the C-Suite level to drive technology strategy and align it with organizational goals.
• Business knowledge of the deal lifecycle for alternative investments and products spanning fundraising, deal sourcing and due diligence, to portfolio management and monitoring.
• Experience cleaning, transforming, and joining financial and alternative data to produce data analytics and visualizations. Knowledge of Life Science, Clinical Trial, Royalty, and Patent data is a plus.
• Deep understanding of data warehouse solutions, especially Snowflake, is a plus.
• Demonstrated exceptional leadership and communication skills, particularly in leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• A self-starting, entrepreneurial attitude with an ability to quickly adapt to modern technologies and industry trends.
• A commitment to teaching, coaching, and mentoring team members, coupled with the ability to make substantial individual contributions.
• A commitment to ensuring that the team consistently delivers high-quality solutions and facilitates effective communication and feedback within the team.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, with demonstrated leadership experience in similar roles

• Product Leadership : Contribute to and mentor a team of Product and Business Analysts providing firsthand guidance and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Architecture and Development : Collaborate with your team to design, build, and maintain applications using relevant technologies within our stack. Evolve and adopt technologies to help deliver business value in a secure, dependable, and scalable manner.
• Data Warehousing : Work with data engineering teams to interface with data warehouse solutions like Snowflake for data analytics and reporting.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams both internally and externally, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Team Development : Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
