We are inviting applications for an enthusiastic, Pro-Shop Assistant who loves golf to join our team at The Ring of Kerry Golf Course for a seasonal contract.
An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our esteemed team at The Ring of Kerry Golf Course. We are currently inviting applications for the position of Pro-Shop Assistant. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Pro shop department while delivering exceptional service to our esteemed clientele.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Proficient in fundamental mathematical principles.
• Fluent in English with exceptional attentiveness and patience in customer interactions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering polished presentations.
• Possess strong organizational acumen and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team framework.
• Flexibility to accommodate varying shifts as required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of golf and its associated protocols.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in Ireland without restriction.
• Fluent English both spoken and written.

• Execute precise opening and closing procedures for the Pro shop department.
• Uphold impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the Pro shop, changing rooms, lockers, and associated facilities.
• Provide unparalleled customer service by warmly welcoming patrons, addressing inquiries, and offering informed recommendations on available merchandise.
• Assist in the efficient management of merchandise, encompassing tasks such as shipping, receiving, pricing, stocking, and inventory control.
• Demonstrate proficiency in essential computer applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Exhibit outstanding communication skills and cultivate positive interactions with both customers and colleagues.
• Ensure adherence to golf course regulations and etiquette while facilitating tee-time reservations in person and via telephone.
• Collaborate effectively with the Head Golf Professional, General Manager, and Tournament Coordinators to support various operational needs.
• Provide invaluable assistance during member outings and tournaments, contributing to event planning, execution, and overall member satisfaction.
• Maintain strict compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and professional standards at all times.
• Exhibit punctuality, reliability, and unwavering integrity in all duties and interactions.
