Description:
At Lifescale Analytics, we help achieve data-driven decisions by leveraging strategic technologies to create innovative solutions that ultimately help our clients to navigate their ever-changing data landscape. We have an opportunity for a Process Analyst, this role is looking for remote candidates in the United States. The ideal candidate will focus on designing new business processes, changing existing business processes and building the functionality to support these changes. Our ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with 3 to 5 years of experience working with agile teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to understand both current-state functionality and the future-state functionality needed
- Translate this information into clear and detailed requirements, conveyed verbally and in writing
- Document, maintain, and communicate the overall vision and roadmap for the product being built
- Create detailed user stories that include appropriate acceptance criteria and have dependencies identified
- Communicate how the overall product vision is supported by the user stories in the backlog
- Work with one or more teams to ensure the backlog of user stories is refined based on team input, understood by the team, and estimated for work
- Work with project and program management teams to help communicate project status
- Identify dependencies, risks, and issues across delivery teams and either escalate or coordinate with other teams to resolve
- Hold teams accountable for their commitments and quality standards
- Work with stakeholders to ensure change management plans are in place for initiatives
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work with stakeholders and delivery teams to resolve any identified issues
- Assist in ensuring that project and business process documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Review issues reported in the production environment and work with delivery teams to resolve them
- Demonstrable applied knowledge of business processes and process improvement methodologies
- Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management and diverse audiences
Job Requirements
- 3 to 5 years prior experience participating in an agile software development framework in an analyst or product owner capacity
- Experience in working with agile product life cycle tools
- Demonstrated participation in cross-functional projects and coordination of cross-functional teams
- Ability to simplify and communicate highly complex information and processes through flow diagrams, visual aids, and real-world examples
- Exceptional written skills, ranging from plain-language user stories to complex process documentation
- Proven success in building strong relationships, clarifying stakeholder expectations, and being able to communicate at all levels concisely and accurately
- Experience with conflict resolution, scope management and issue & risk tracking
- Proven success in designing business processes to support a product vision and writing user stories that detail the process
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field experience.
