Process Control Analyst

Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for over 130 years, is seeking a Process Control Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual that can demonstrate organization, a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing support to JDF Operations, Marketing & Sales, QA/PD, and Customer Service by managing internal product information systems for finished product formula, product specifications, operating procedures, code dating information, packaging & palletizing systems. Implement and verify process control systems including statistical analysis for Operations and QA.

Responsibilities:

• Internal auditor for Lab, HACCP, and Operations
• Maintain key components for Operational Equipment
• Act as specification superintendent for QA/PD for developing operations product/ingredient packets and systems.
• Provide technical support to Marketing and Sales
• Act as a liaison with PD, Purchasing, Operations, and Plant QA staff to implement process and product changes
• Statistical process control resource for Production and QA departments.
• Accept special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Food Science or relevant manufacturing experience.
• 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance/Technical Service Analyst in the process meats industry or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and detail oriented
• High level of accuracy and organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
• Walking, Bending, Stooping, Standing, Sitting, Walking, Hearing
• Ability to reach about shoulders
• Lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Exposer to cold, hot, damp and noisy environments
