Process Engineer
Mississauga
Up to $114,000 to start
Benefits

Duties:

  • Develop a corporate automation plan that integrates with and supports the Manufacturing strategy
  • Implement data tracking measures to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop plans to increase productivity on existing automated equipment
  • Create specifications for automation opportunities identified and identify strategy to develop automated equipment ranging from in house development, procurement of equipment or hybrid of both strategies.
  • Complete AFE for any capital spend requirements and submit to VP of operations for approval
  • Work with the maintenance team to identify problematic areas in existing automated processes.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators for existing automated lines
  • Work with Maintenance teams to develop critical spares inventory for new or existing equipment
  • Work with quality and operations groups to identify productivity and quality expectations and key performance indicators for new manufacturing processes.
  • Work with quality and operations groups to develop training plans and working procedures and instructions for new equipment or processes
  • Work with maintenance teams to develop preventative maintenance plans, troubleshooting guides and repair instructions for new equipment
  • Provide recommendations to existing equipment or recommendations for new equipment to accommodate new product development opportunities
  • Ensure the integration of all new equipment and processes with ERP system for appropriate manufacturing data collection and accuracy of Bill of Operations Management
  • Assist in the development of project scope and objectives
