QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS

• Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience in sheet extrusion and/or thermoforming preferred.
• Ability to obtain Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Familiarity with food safety requirements and Food Packing HACCP experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of statistical and analytical tools, FMEAs, and Design of Experiments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal are essential.
• Ability to sit or stand for multiple hours, and lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Detail-oriented: ability to analyze product quality deficiencies, adjust thermoforming and/or
  extrusion process to correct deficiencies, and document/train operational personnel on the
  defect as well as the process modifications made to correct it.
