QUALIFICATIONS

The incumbent must have a degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pulp and paper industry will be considered an asset
Registered (or eligible for registration) as Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Manitoba
Excellent understanding of Microsoft office and computer-based data analysis tools is required
Strong problem solving, analytical and project management skills
Strong documentation and communication skills will be essential

Responsibilities:

Currently seeking 2 Process Engineers. Under the direction of the Mill Services Manager, the Process Engineer will be responsible for providing process optimization support services for the mill operation. The Process Engineers will monitor and react to area KPI’s, lead mill trials, troubleshoot and implementing process improvement initiatives.
