Vision Plastics, Inc., a Northwest leader in custom injection molding, is currently looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our team! SUMMARY

Test and evaluate new and legacy tooling. Improve production process and assist production in trouble shooting existing jobs using Scientific Molding.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must have basic understanding of injection mold design and window study techniques.
2. Must have advanced knowledge of material drying, blending and mixing requirements.
3. Must have good hand tool skills and mechanical ability.
4. Must be able to perform root cause analysis.
5. Must be able to process all types of plastic.
6. Must have advanced knowledge of injection molding machines and processes.
7. Must have at least ten years experience as a Process Technician in an injection molding environment. B.A./B.S. in Process Engineering or similar degree is preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

1. Test and evaluate new and legacy tooling.
2. Perform and document process window studies, gate freeze and Design of Experiments per Scientific Molding procedures.
3. Assist production in trouble shooting existing jobs.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters.
5. Leads training and serves as a mentor to Technicians, Process Engineer Trainee/Process Engineers.
