Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL…

  • execute production plans according to management schedules and customer requirements.
  • execute the production, packaging and storage of existing photopolymer portfolio materials and customized formulations according to work instructions.
  • ensure a professional incoming goods inspection and storage plan for chemical raw materials.
  • ensure quality and production problems-solving based on data analysis
  • continuously improve process quality and enable quality built in process introduction
  • implement for production of new products and support optimization of production processes and machines
  • plan and conduct qualifications, validation and revalidation of production processes and materials in accordance with applicable standards
  • support a professional database and versioning system for all material mixtures and production routines.
  • be responsible for maintaining a safe and up-to-date production environment for chemical goods.
  • support the creation and iteration of production protocols and of the overall production data management concept.
  • identify and implement effective courses of action.
  • establish a positive and progressive working culture on the factory level.
  • prioritize and meet deadlines according to production timetables.
  • prepare validation plans and report deviations and discrepancies
  • collaborate with various internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and technical collaborators to deliver technical solutions.
  • set-up and handling of lab and testing equipment, materials, electricity, machines, and chemicals according to dedicated safety protocols.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED …

  • 3+ years of experience in chemistry, chemical engineering, or in a chemical or biochemical production environment
  • S degree or equivalent in (bio-)chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
  • strong technical knowledge and proficiency in chemical production
  • experience in and ability to design, optimize and troubleshoot multistep material production campaigns.
  • exceptional communication, and problem-solving skills
