Process Engineer (MES)

Job responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Process Engineering team on MES and PLM systems.
• Assist in evaluating business needs, research and perform impact analysis of new requirements or

changes in MES and PLM.

• Work closely with IT and external vendor to ensure new MES requirements are configured as per

team’s requirements.

• Develop training plan and provide training to relevant stakeholders for MES and PLM.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new patches in MES and PLM.
• Prepare software validation documentation for the new functions in MES and PLM before releasing

into production floor.

• Drive improvement projects related to software & systems in process department.
• Key person to liaise with other functional departments and external vendor on MES

troubleshooting and new requirements.

• Key person representing process engineering department to participate in corporate-driven

software projects.

Job requirements

• Preferably a Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Preferably have 2 - 5 years similar working experience
• Strong understanding of manufacturing process; especially in PCBA and Box Build
• Good understanding of MES capabilities and how they can be applied to improve manufacturing

efficiency and quality.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills in English
