We are seeking a Process Engineering System Owner with expertise in equipment design, commissioning, and qualification based in Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in process engineering and will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of process equipment operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical guidance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in equipment design, commissioning, and qualification.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with testing data models for managing data generated by QC laboratory instruments, TCU, and computerized systems.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and approve design documents related to process equipment operation (e.g., drawings, specifications, narratives, datasheets, layouts).
  • Lead cross-functional discussions between owners, stakeholders, and/or external vendors to drive decisions or deliverables.
  • Provide technical and subject matter expertise, including operation philosophy, narrative, risk mitigation, and industry best practices.
  • Review and approve vendor documents (e.g., testing documents, specifications, P&IDs).
  • Provide technical and subject matter expertise during commissioning of equipment.
  • Support C&Q scopes, equipment troubleshooting, documentation review, and approval.
  • Complete system handover to the next phase of the project.
  • Support non-conformances, change controls, and deviations as they arise on the project.
