PROCESS ENGINEER
PTI is looking for a process engineer to join our engineering services department. The successful candidate will work with management to advance department capabilities, help plan and execute project workload, take technical lead and meet customer requirements. They will also gain good understanding of blow and injection machinery operation and troubleshooting and aim to become proficient in the set-up of different jobs. Our process engineer will interact directly with customers to establish project guidelines, offer technical guidance, understand and coordinate deliverables from other departments, analyze and report final data and ensure timely invoicing. Expected travel for this position is estimated at 10-20%.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field or proven work experience
- Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical equipment, operations, troubleshooting preferred
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and familiarity with PLC programming
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized, detail oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

- Advance process development and manufacturing expertise
- Provide on-site technical support to customers and PTI global companies
- Develop, configure, optimize processes from inception
- Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
- Work directly with team members and interact with customers to deliver quality results

- Develop best practices, routines and advanced solutions to improve quality of output

- Provide process documentation and operating instructions
- Tool changes and machine set-ups
- Be self-motivated and take initiative in developing and implementing key department initiatives
