Responsibilities:

PURPOSE

Develop existing and new initiatives and projects supporting the industry energy transition challenges. You will be part of a Team dedicated to developing and delivering solutions leading to decarbonization of the industrial assets, involving energy efficiency, electrification and carbon capture. You will be an active contributor towards a net zero CO₂ emissions vision by 2050.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop technical and economic studies at different maturity levels (from concept to reality);
  • Develop and monitor the physical and financial execution planning of projects;
  • Prepare tenders for technical feasibility studies, basic engineering and FEED;
  • Carry out technical evaluations of engineering studies proposals from specialized engineering providers;
  • Support the development of basic engineering, FEED and detail studies, throughout the various stages. Review of PFDs, P&IDs, risk analysis (HAZOP), SIL study, etc.;
  • Identify and develop opportunities for improvement and propose technological updates to processes;
  • Develop simulations of units and equipment, to assess the impact of changes;
  • Participate in projects arising from the management of modifications and process development and carry out risk analyzes associated with these modifications.
  • Prepare and monitor specific tests in process units (capacity, process changes, obtaining new products and/or changes to current specifications, treatment of new raw materials, optimization);
  • Screening of new technologies, interpretation of benchmarking oriented towards practical application in the refinery’s processing units.
