Description:

Your responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing performance data, initiating improvement activities, and developing conceptual designs for new repair processes within the EMEA region. Utilizing LEAN principles, you will lead and train improvement projects related to repair activities, driving efficiency and productivity gains. Your responsibilities will also include participating in Expert Community meetings, providing insights for performance improvement, and assisting MRS Senior Management with KPI calculations. Additionally, you will introduce new repair processes, audit existing ones for compliance, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sub-process owner for repair processes to analyze performance data and initiate improvement activities.
  • Utilize LEAN principles to manage and train improvement projects related to repair activities.
  • Attend Expert Community meetings as a representative of the Olympus Engineering department.
  • Analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities and enact necessary changes.
  • Support the Senior Management in your area of responsibility with industry-standard calculations for KPIs and performance management.
  • Introduce new repair processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct audits of existing processes to ensure compliance with repair blueprints.
  • Commit to continued learning and development.

Your qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent field.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience of the above mentioned tasks.
  • Project management certification (IPMA or Prince2) preferred, knowledge of 8d, Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality systems and metrics.
  • Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written
  • Strong communication, analytical, and systematic thinking skills.
  • Goal-oriented and assertive with a pragmatic working style.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize customer service.
