Job Title: Process Engineer – Manufacturing - Roll Forming and Press Focus
Pay Rate: $61,740-$82,320 Annually
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or
- Minimum 5 years experience (can have experience in lieu of degree)
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Tool and Die Making, and or Roll Forming experience
- Strong analytical, communication and decision-making skills
- Self-starter, with excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong IT competency in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities:
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Tool and Die Makers and Tooling Designer to improve reliability and quality of the existing tooling.
- Assist with the rollout of new products from a technical resource for Roll Forming and/or Tool and Die design.
- .
- Prioritize process improvement based on impact to the organization.
- Executes daily administrative tasks within a manufacturing plant with a particular focus on managing the coordination, implementation and standardization of improvement projects within the plant.
- Monitors and makes recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Researches and identifies fiscally sound potential projects and then uses established leadership skills to build, develop and lead teams to execute a solution for the project.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Incorporates safety into all aspects of the department to ensure safe working conditions during all activities associated within the manufacturing environment.
- Responsible for monitoring day to day process activity and recommending improvements to maximize efficiency to include waste, speed, delay and raw material usage.
- Manage the coordination, implementation and standardization of manufacturing process improvements. Establish and utilize Standard Operating Procedures.
- Responsible for supporting new technology, implementing trial plans and being the primary contact with Corporate Technical Services for process optimization.
- Responsible for leading cross functional teams assembled to address process variability.
