Job Title: Process Engineer – Manufacturing - Roll Forming and Press Focus
Pay Rate: $61,740-$82,320 Annually

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or
  • Minimum 5 years experience (can have experience in lieu of degree)

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Tool and Die Making, and or Roll Forming experience
  • Strong analytical, communication and decision-making skills
  • Self-starter, with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong IT competency in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities:

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Tool and Die Makers and Tooling Designer to improve reliability and quality of the existing tooling.
  • Assist with the rollout of new products from a technical resource for Roll Forming and/or Tool and Die design.
  • .
  • Prioritize process improvement based on impact to the organization.
  • Executes daily administrative tasks within a manufacturing plant with a particular focus on managing the coordination, implementation and standardization of improvement projects within the plant.
  • Monitors and makes recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
  • Researches and identifies fiscally sound potential projects and then uses established leadership skills to build, develop and lead teams to execute a solution for the project.
  • Long term growth opportunities to join Technical team in a number of different roles

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Incorporates safety into all aspects of the department to ensure safe working conditions during all activities associated within the manufacturing environment.
  • Responsible for monitoring day to day process activity and recommending improvements to maximize efficiency to include waste, speed, delay and raw material usage.
  • Manage the coordination, implementation and standardization of manufacturing process improvements. Establish and utilize Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Responsible for supporting new technology, implementing trial plans and being the primary contact with Corporate Technical Services for process optimization.
  • Responsible for leading cross functional teams assembled to address process variability.
