Are you experienced in functional safety engineering and ready to take on challenging tasks with determination and precision? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Accelera by Cummins as our new Process Industry Functional Safety Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Execute structured tasks in functional safety engineering.
- Complete assigned tasks on time despite potential work overload across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure product safety and compliance.
- Lead or participate in PHA (HAZOP/LOPA) risk assessments.
- Create risk assessment reports and safety requirement specifications.
- Conduct SIL determination and verification calculations.
- Develop test procedures and document test results.
- Support general product safety as needed, with a focus on functional safety responsibilities.
