ABOUT YOU:
We are seeking an individual who is an effective communicator, reliable, and with soft gel experience. You must be willing to relocate to Christchurch for this position.
In addition, the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience.
- Experience or good understanding of soft gel manufacture.
- Experienced in operating specialist nutraceutical/pharmaceutical equipment.
- Process Operation experience including machine set-up, calibration, troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of QA procedures and regulator requirements.
- Attention to detail and excellent record keeping.
- Physical fitness.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Company Overview:
My client is an NZ owned and operated company developing and manufacturing ingredients for the nutraceutical industry. They are based in Christchurch and are experiencing growth and great success, adding new sites and increasing output or their diverse range of in-demand ingredients including marine, animal, and botanical raw materials into Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) powders and oils.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a newly created role for a Process Operator to operate and monitor specialist equipment (including encapsulation of hard-shell capsule and soft gel capsule Manufacturing and Packaging Machines), performing machine set-up, calibration, and adjustments to ensure accurate production, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining meticulous records. Pre and post-operational quality checks are integral, as is adhering to health and safety protocols, food hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements.
