Description:
THE SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:
- Bachelor Science of Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering discipline. 2-10 years of experience. Registered Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer with APEGA. Ability to stamp process safety documentation as P.Eng or working towards P.Eng status.
- Previous Process Safety Engineering experience
- Knowledge of ASME piping codes, B31.1 and B31.3 and Boiler Pressure Vessel codes. Familiar with Alberta Boilers Branch standards and design registration process
- Experience using AutoCAD, Solidworks and SAP.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment;
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an industrial environment and familiar with the pulp and paper industry
- Facilitate Planning and Coordinating Maintenance Outages, Priority Setting, Conflict Management, Building Effective Teams, Problem Solving, Meeting Budgets
