How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Planning, organizing, supporting and managing qualitative and quantitative safety studies in projects of all technology types such as HAZOP, HAZID, What-If, SIL, LOPA, analysis of process hazards (e.g. fire, explosion, overpressure, chemical reactions, toxicity) and utilizing tools like DNV PHAST
Supporting fire and gas detection concepts, hazardous area classification, and guiding the application of Functional Safety Lifecycle. Moreover, establishing Functional Safety Management Plans, facilitating team reviews of Safety Requirement Specifications, participating in audits, advising commissioning managers on safety, and conducting Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
Are you a match?
University degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline emphasizing Process Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in process safety.
Proficient in interpreting and assessing technical information from a variety of processes including several novel technologies.
Knowledge of low carbon hydrogen technologies such as those featured on the Air Liquide Engineering and Construction Website (

) would be an additional asset
Strong organizational skills, excellent teamwork capabilities and a high proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
Reporting Line and Location
Reports directly to the Head Process Risk Management Dept (Engineering & Construction Europe)
The candidate will be based in Frankfurt with regular travel to Kraków, focusing on technologies in both locations.
Occasional global business trips may be required.
