WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
My client in the Plastics Manufacturing Industry is looking to recruit a Process Technician to join the Engineering team. This role is located in Co. Westmeath.
- This role is Mon-Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm
You will be involved in the manufacturing process in machine and mould validation, new products and continuous improvement.
EXPERIENCE AS A MOULDING/PROCESS TECHNICIAN – ESSENTIAL.
- Understanding of running Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Technical experience in moulding processes,
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validation of new moulds and machines
- Resolve technical issues.
- Assist in the development to support validation activities.
- Process optimisation.
- Work alongside maintenance teams.
- Ensure company manufacturing procedures/processes are adhered to.
- Maintains Process Control Records
- Work on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects.
