We are looking for process technicians in the injection molding. You support the process engineers (m/f/d) in setting up, technically implementing and further developing optimal processes and workplaces. You are therefore a decisive factor in the creation of our injection molded parts for the new Model Y, which will be the first to roll off the assembly line in our Gigafactory.
What You’ll Do
You will work together with a team to develop optimal processes and workflows so that our team has a safe and ergonomic workplace in the injection molding shop and support the process engineers (m/f/d) in the implementation and further development of processes,
You support with problem diagnosis and resolution as well as with the implementation of optimization measures,
You support the development of standard work steps and workflows for product launches and product changes and are heavily involved in the construction of prototypes,
You will be involved in set-up processes,
You support the training of new work processes and train employees (m/f/d),
Continuous improvement is in your blood and you like to bring in new ideas.
What You’ll Bring
What You’ll Bring
You have professional training in the injection molding industry or a comparable qualification, preferably in the automotive industry,
You have several years of experience in preparing, setting up and optimizing injection molding,
Certificates on injection molding or process technologies desirable (training on spray technology, robot programming, pouring curves, etc.),
You already have experience in process optimization, for example lean production,
You have experience in handling fixtures and quality measuring tools,
You bring a hands-on mentality and the willingness to work shifts in a 4-shift system,
You have good knowledge of English or German, ideally both.
