Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a Japanese manufacturing company. They are looking for a Process Technician to support the efficient and safe operation of the plant’s production processes. They play a crucial role in ensuring that equipment and systems function optimally, that production runs smoothly, and that product quality meets the required standards.

【 What you will be doing 】

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the production plant
  • Follow work SOPs
  • Observe safety rules and 5S
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area, upkeep equipment and assist in the maintenance program and operating of production machinery and equipment
  • Assists in loading and unloading of ISO tanker and raw materials, carries out chemical waste sorting, waste transfer and stock keeping
  • Collect process data
  • Routine plant logging
  • Conduct site walks to discover abnormalities
  • Conduct material weighing and charging
  • Assist TL in troubleshooting plant issues
  • Grade change cleaning activities
  • Perform confined space Tank cleaning
  • Reactor cleaning
  • Conduct process gas and product sampling using gas chromatography
  • Perform weekly PH meter calibration

REQUIREMENT

【 What they are looking for 】

(Must)

  • Minimum O Levels or NITEC in Chemical Engineering
  • Willing to be on standby call when necessary
  • Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply

(Preferable)

  • Candidates who can commence work at short notice
  • Relevant working experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
  • Computer-literate, able to perform data entry and use Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills
