Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a Japanese manufacturing company. They are looking for a Process Technician to support the efficient and safe operation of the plant’s production processes. They play a crucial role in ensuring that equipment and systems function optimally, that production runs smoothly, and that product quality meets the required standards.
【 What you will be doing 】
- Ensure the smooth operation of the production plant
- Follow work SOPs
- Observe safety rules and 5S
- Ensure cleanliness of work area, upkeep equipment and assist in the maintenance program and operating of production machinery and equipment
- Assists in loading and unloading of ISO tanker and raw materials, carries out chemical waste sorting, waste transfer and stock keeping
- Collect process data
- Routine plant logging
- Conduct site walks to discover abnormalities
- Conduct material weighing and charging
- Assist TL in troubleshooting plant issues
- Grade change cleaning activities
- Perform confined space Tank cleaning
- Reactor cleaning
- Conduct process gas and product sampling using gas chromatography
- Perform weekly PH meter calibration
REQUIREMENT
【 What they are looking for 】
(Must)
- Minimum O Levels or NITEC in Chemical Engineering
- Willing to be on standby call when necessary
- Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply
(Preferable)
- Candidates who can commence work at short notice
- Relevant working experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
- Computer-literate, able to perform data entry and use Microsoft Excel
Good communication skills
