Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent (Mid-Level or Senior) (Level 3 or 4) to join our Supplier Financial Risk Management (SFRM) team in Everett, Washington!
The Supplier Financial Risk Management (SFRM) team works in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, non-standard procurement world with leadership visibility. We are looking for individuals that thrive in collaboration and leading activities independently. The individual hired, will be assigned a specific category within BCA Supply Chain and will be responsible for collaboration across the enterprise for those suppliers. Additionally, the individual will be expected to lead cross-organizationally and proactively manage each case with little direction from management.
The role requires strong partnerships with the enterprise Supplier Financial Risk Management group, Enterprise Credit Risk, Procurement Finance, and Category Core Operations, Contracts, Finance, Sourcing and Category Management teams to understand the issues affecting financially distressed suppliers, navigate through unique supplier situations, and develop and implement robust risk mitigation plans. Some travel, domestic and/or international, will be required for this position.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE):
- 3+ years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement
- 3+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 3+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives
- 3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
- Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10-20% of the time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans
- 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain Contracts, Operations, or Finance, or a combination thereof
- 5 + years of experience in any of the following areas: Structures, Raw Materials, Systems, Interiors, Propulsion or Indirect Supply Chain
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Mid-Level Level 3: Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Senior Level 4: Typically, 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated organizational risk mitigation plans and schedules, and guide the development of business strategies, goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners across the entire Boeing enterprise.
- Proactively communicate with senior leadership, peers, suppliers, and customers, including communicating business vision and strategies, program or project status, conducting and participating in leadership meetings, and delivering presentations.
- Establish partnerships and relationships across various business units with internal and external customers, stakeholders, and peers.
- Operate in unique and sometimes ambiguous situations.
