Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Agent (Mid-level or Senior) to join the Supply Chain team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

This position will lead the development and execution of work transfer activity within the wire bundle and electrical component categories. This position requires Procurement Agents to integrate and partner with BCA Contracts, Category Management, Engineering, and Fabrication teams.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the wire bundle or electrical component categories; experience in Supply Chain Operations; the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; and the ability to work effectively with business partners as part of an integrated team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
- Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
- Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
- Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
- Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- 3+ years of experience in a role that required strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
- 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
