Description:

The Role
Purpose: Responsible for sourcing and contracting of all material requirements for Coca Cola Al Ahila Beverages UAE. Responsibilities: Full category management of Raw material, Packaging material, Contract Manufacturing and Finished Goods. This includes the following activities within category: • Management of vendor performance • Issue and completion of RFP’s. • Lead negotiations. • Execution of PR to PO • Execution of contracts • Providing input into budget pricing • Achieving cost reduction • Supporting innovation • Ensure compliance to competitive bidding and other procurement policies. Other Administrative activities: 1) Manage PR’s received through online system (SAP) 2) Align with Procurement Policy on competitive bidding 3) Where not under contract, obtain quotes 4) Execute translation to PO 5) Assist in resolving Invoice/Payment issues 6) Assist clearance department on managing documentation requirements, and follow up on demurrage claims 7) Manage all other claims with suppliers 8) Mange contract expiry, through renewal or tendering
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor degree in Business/Engineering/Sciences. • CIPS or Post Graduate certifications in supply chain and procurement favorable Minimum Experience: • 3 years functional experience within procurement. • FMCG experience (preferred) Job-Specific Skills: • Ability to influence • Ability to work in cross functional teams • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven abilities to plan and deliver. • Ability to prioritize Management Competencies: • Drive Performance & Results • Improve Collaboration • Engage Others • Develop & Deliver Vision & Strategy • Support Change • Fast learning
