ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to the recent implementation of a Value Creation Plan (VCP) focused on delivering Questas’ growth strategy, we now have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Procurement Analyst to join our team.
The role will be primarily based in our Seven Hills head office, with plans to relocate to Norwest later in 2024.

Reporting to the Group Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing market research, identifying external trends, capturing industry benchmarks, analysing data and spend, building business models.
  • Building a solid fact base of spend data by category.
  • Helping shape category strategies.
  • Highlighting and reducing supply risk.
  • Assisting in the negotiation of supplier agreements to ensure they deliver best price, quality and service outcomes.
  • Identifying and evaluating cost saving opportunities.
  • Automating routine reporting and performance trackers.
  • Building relevant business scorecards and performance trackers.
  • Reporting on key performance measures and indicators to help drive value across the company.
  • Monitoring and tracking savings to ensure targets are met.
  • Supporting key procurement processes, systems and tools.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role, you will possess:

  • Experience in procurement analytics and supply market research.
  • Tertiary qualification in a discipline such as Finance, Engineering, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain.
  • Demonstrated capability in Microsoft office and other business intelligence software.
  • Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Highly developed analytical, evaluation and research and data skills including demonstrated ability to implement new concepts and deliver positive, innovative solutions, insightful reporting and deliver savings.
  • A strong desire to develop and progress your career within the Questas Group.

Desirable

  • Experience within the Industrial services sector.
  • Project procurement experience.
  • Procurement program management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage and implement change successfully; and/or international exposure.
