KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Supply Chain/ Commerce / Business/ Computer Science/ Data Analytics/ Sustainability/ other related studies.
• Minimum 2 years related work experience and capability in a data analytics capacity, preferably in sustainability or ESG area.
• Background in procurement/ supply chain/ data & analytics/ sustainability would be very advantageous.
• Fundamental knowledge of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Sustainability Reporting standards such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Taskforce on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) preferred
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerQuery and SAP S/4 database.
• High proficiency with data visualization especially using Power BI.
• High proficiency in strategizing, formulating and tracking reporting metrics.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Understand the methodology of computation of carbon emissions and basic ESG fundamentals
• Proven experience in driving projects, project management and documentation
• Bonus if proficient in Macros, SQL, other coding languages
• Very advantageous to have work experience in sustainability, ESG and related areas.

THE ROLE

In-depth procurement insight is the driver behind Global Procurement’s continued growth and success. Procurement Analyst (sustainability) aids the Global Procurement leadership to seek out, develop, and implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity especially in sustainable procurement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform data extraction, transformation, load (ETL) and validation procurement analysis, especially in sustainability and ESG data.
• Work closely with the sustainable procurement associate to advance the sustainability goals of the procurement department.
• Responsible for computing, monitoring and analyzing carbon emission data
• Prepare carbon emission data for specific operation process for stakeholders
• Conduct cost/impact analysis to carbon emission for stakeholders
• Analyze and advise on quality and sustainability of carbon project traded
• Conduct analysis and forecast of carbon credit prices/trends
• Innovate and design on reporting metrics for sustainability procurement reports.
• Review large sustainability data sets to ensure products sourced meet legislation and identify opportunities for material re-engineering, product development sustainable alternative or innovation
• Support with sustainability data collation and validation as required to ensure company and customer compliance
• Partner with stakeholder teams within Global Procurement, Digital Integrated Supply Chain, Sustainability Team and across business units to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with all levels.
