Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Knauf is seeking a passionate, experienced, and influential Procurement Category Specialist to join our supply chain team based in Pinkenba, QLD.
The Procurement Category Specialist Indirects - reportings to the Head of Procurement and will engage with Knauf business units to identify opportunities, develop, and drive the annual procurement program resulting in measurable value delivery to Knauf stakeholders.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • With input from the business stakeholders develop, lead and implement category strategies from negotiating value for money outcomes with suppliers though to opportunity analysis to contract execution and management
  • Develop and implement supplier KPIs, performance measurement tools and monitor performance and category risks
  • Prioritise category initiatives accordingly to business critically, capacity requirements, inter-dependencies and potential benefits
  • Process Improvement in conjunction with the business unit stakeholders, establish operational processes for the businesses to engage suppliers
