Description:

We are a Maritime-centric Equipment and Service Provider based in Singapore, providing marine electronics and communications equipment/services and integration services for the commercial marine and offshore industries in Singapore, Asia and Europe regions.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the role of the Procurement Executive is to source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, terms, and quality for goods and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering a collaborative and productive partnership.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly and address any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on sourcing strategies.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.Maintain accurate and organized procurement records and documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools. Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Appointment commensurate with experience.
