Vestas Global Procurement is overall responsible all strategic sourcing activities within Vestas. Our team is selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and securing the delivery of products and services for all Vestas factories, service sites and office locations.
To keep Vestas competitive, Global Procurement is committed to build relations with the best suppliers, reduce waste across the value chain and deliver benchmark cost levels for our products and services. We develop best practices anchored in tools, systems, and processes to ensure continuous improvement and unified execution in Procurement.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are currently a master’s degree student in Denmark, preferably within Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Innovation Management and Business Development, Economics or a similarly relevant line of study.

You will join our global Procurement team at our headquarters in Aarhus. As a member of our Global Procurement team:

• you will collaborate with professionals from across the globe
• you will contribute to the green energy transition
• you will connect the dots across different areas of the business and build a network that opens doors and creates opportunities across various functions

As a part of the intern program, you will also have the chance to visit our factories, gaining firsthand insights into our production processes and making your internship truly comprehensive. Your internship experience at Vestas is tailored in collaboration with your manager, ensuring that your journey with us is exciting from day one.

Examples of tasks could include:

• Diving into the world of contracts and negotiations. Learn how to prepare and create powerful agreements that can shape the course of Vestas’ collaboration with suppliers
• Learn the ins and outs of managing suppliers, turning relationships into well-coordinated efforts that maximizes the positive outcome for all parties
