Role : Procurement Manager

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 10 Years’ experience in Procurement and supply chain related position
• Advanced knowledge of building construction and Facilities Management
• Advanced knowledge of Project management
• Previous experience in E-Procurement solutions & tools

ROLE PURPOSE:

• T o set up and manage the non -IT category under VMCP department including Facilities Management, Real Estate Projects, Administration and General Services.

• To deliver an optimized service, quality and cost offering to the customers of Procurement (both internal and externally)

• To recognize, understand and contribute towards the long-term objectives of VMCP and to support the HO-VMCP inn the execution of the Procurement Business transformation Plans
• To deputize for the Head of Department and manage the team’s performance and deliverables across assigned spend categories

SPECIALIST SKILLS / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:

• Minimum - bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent degree / Masters is a plus
• CIPS / equivalent accreditation
• Project Management accreditation
• Business Arabic and English - Verbal and written
