Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to increase indigenous spend in non-trade categories, identifying potential indigenous suppliers, assisting with on-boarding and developing frameworks to foster ongoing relationships, with a hands-on approach in regards to key strategic partners
- Map out strategies and plans to articulate how we contribute to positive outcomes for other diverse groups
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships to influence key stakeholders to ensure alignment and success of diversity & inclusion initiatives
- Develop and implement communications strategy to engage, inform & educate Woolworths’ employees across all levels on diversity & inclusion initiatives, targets and emerging trends
- Continuously monitor and report on progress towards Woolworths’ spend targets and commitments, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities for diversifying Woolworths’ supplier base and increasing representation from underrepresented groups
