We have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Manager to come and join our team!
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with experience within the Engineering sector. This role is perfect for someone who has a huge passion for everything Procurement!!!
Within this role you will be managing, negotiating, and supporting the Supply Chain teams across the group for their Engineering requirements along with the responsibility for optimising the group indirect spend, along with some other areas of Indirect procurement.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Professional/ Technical experience e.g. strategic sourcing / category management
  • Skilled in supplier relationship management with strategic suppliers.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively stakeholder and influence all teams, areas, and levels of the Group.
  • Have excellent analytical, organisational & reporting skills.
  • Be a strong and confident decision maker.
  • Able to demonstrate experience in delivery, leading and managing projects.
  • Understanding and knowledge of contract law and processes.
  • CIPS qualified (Desirable).

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing to specification/business needs of allocated categories, meeting requirements for Assurance of Supply, Quality, Service, Cost and Innovation.
  • Sourcing implementation/introduction of new suppliers.
  • Management and measurement of Supplier Performance in line with contract and agreed measures.
  • Setting budgets/targets and providing business forecasts for allocated spend areas.
  • Delivering financial targets in line with budget.
  • Ensuring appropriate awareness of market drivers related to allocated categories and communication of impact to the business.
  • Risk assess supply and put mitigation actions in place.
  • Business partner with stakeholder groups to ensure optimal supply base performance.
  • Leading and manage projects within allocated categories.
  • Deployment and implementation of best practice Procurement processes and techniques.
  • Leading Procurement function activities and projects as may be required from time to time.
