Description:
Overview:
The role is tasked to develop and lead Procurement activity for Packaging category for Indonesia COSO including PEP Foods operating entities, contract manufacturers etc.
- Defining and executing end-to-end commercial procurement strategies across Packaging
- Risk Management, Supplier Relationship Management
- Measuring and Improving Performance across all Packaging sub-categories
- Delivering on Productivity Targets and reporting of productivity in Power Steering
- Achieving Annual Plans and Delivering sustainable ROI
- Build & driving long term Packaging Procurement category strategy to meet 2025 Indonesia COSO strategy
- Negotiation and Execution of legal agreements as per SOA
- Effective supplier relationship management and conflict resolution
- Renegotiation of payment terms to deliver on OCF targets
- Negotiation and creation of catalogues to achieve automation rate
- Effective stakeholder management
- Legal contract writing
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing and implementing procurement Packaging strategy that aligns with the sector packaging category team that will leverage the scale and scope to achieve best-in-market competitive supply agreements and increase overall profitability
- Establish new and effective ways of working with key stakeholders and contribute to the overall strategic direction of broader Indonesia business strategies
- Lead sourcing projects for the Category supporting Indonesia COSO to deliver the targets
- Deliver Productivity targets and annual operating plan
- Help develop & Implement the Procurement strategy of all packaging spends (Primary packaging e.g. Film/Laminates and Secondary packaging e.g. Carton/Corrugate etc.) for with emphasis on identification of cost reduction opportunities and procurement process improvements
- Continuously review and implement improvement in sourcing processes through use of best practices tools and processes
- Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including GMs, Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Sustainability Office to support their agenda on sourcing projects
- Build key relationships with cross-functional and functional stakeholders
- Coordinate with Suppliers locally and globally to Build sustainable supplier partnership relationships
- Manage Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes, including approving Requisitions and ensuring compliance to Procurement Policy
- Work closely with Legal & Controls to develop contracts that include all the required terms and conditions to mitigate risk to protect PepsiCo’s interests
- Identify evaluate and recommend other purchasing opportunities across business to effectively help increase the spend base
- Responsible for developing and maintaining appropriate compliance and governance structures and processes and for establishing strategies to manage commodity price risk, process / control risk, policy and standards within the Packaging category
- Establish functional credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Active participation with cross functional teams supporting the execution of the commercial calendar via the planning and implementation of new products
- Optimize supplier innovation and technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or related fields
- 7 years experiences in Procurement of Packaging, Flexible Packaging etc.
- Preferred experienced from FMCGs or F&B Industries
- Good command of English and Bahasa and sound computer skills
- Sourcing skills, knowledge in various Indirect category
- Knowledge in ERP (myBUY / E-auction), total cost ownership (TCO) and procurement to payment (PTP) process
- Negotiation skills and e-sourcing capability
- Ability to work under ambiguity and excellent interpersonal skills.
