JOB SUMMARY

We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to fill this position. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing the best quality materials, goods, and services for our organization at the most competitive prices. This role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills and a thorough understanding of procurement processes.

• Experience Level: Entry level
• Experience Length: 1 year

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum academic qualification of HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of working experience
  Location: Candidate should reside in Ajah
  Remuneration: NGN 100,000.00 per month

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Identify and source new suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
• Evaluate and compare supplier quotes to ensure the best quality and cost.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in procurement activities.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
