The opportunity
Are you someone who thrives on attention to detail, organizational finesse, and is eager to deepen insight within procurement? QBE is looking for an individual to join our European Operations Procurement team on a full time, permanent basis as a Procurement Operations Analyst.
In this role, you’ll be providing full end-to-end P2P process and Visa payment support for one or more QBE functions within the internal QBE community. Reporting to our Procurement Operations and Services Manager, you’ll be working closely with key business partners to identify areas for process improvement and suggest customer-specific solutions.

Your new role

  • Act as QBE’s SME for Procure to Pay and Visa payments ensuring systems are fit for purpose
  • Operate as Oracle Fusion and Visa solutions champion, promoting its use and benefits across the business.
  • Provide the business with relevant support for all Visa payments, including application, resolving issues, reporting, maintaining the virtual credit card system and assist deployers as required
  • Develop and deliver user training to internal stakeholders and manage up-to-date training/users guides
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting is available to share with stakeholders, thereby supporting the business to make fact-based decisions
  • Manage the creation, implementation and delivery of supplier catalogues and smart forms
  • Maintain P2P and Visa payment procedural documents, ensuring all processes are appropriately documented and reflective of best working practices
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient operational workflow and enhanced sharing of knowledge and information
  • Manage the new supplier process ensuring all relevant checks are implemented prior to approving the supplier site creation in Oracle Fusion
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable/Finance functions to facilitate prompt and accurate payment solutions

About you

You have the capability to build professional relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers, and can navigate the subtle nuances that exist to produce meaningful outcomes. Other skills and attributes required for the role include:

  • Organisational skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Administrational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (v-/h-lookup formulas, pivot table etc.)
  • Capacity to alternate from working in team-related activities to being a self-motivated starter that can identify and work through opportunities of process improvements
  • Performs process-orientated tasks but applies experience to align individual work with overall function and business strategy
  • Working knowledge of Oracle P2P (advantageous)
  • Experience in Power BI and Oracle Fusion (advantageous)
