At the Penzberg site we are accountable for several procurement services and business partnering support for our product manufacturing operations. In maintaining and continually improving our supply base, we are able to guarantee a high quality standard concerning raw materials, finished/semi-finished goods. YOUR POSITION

We are looking for you as Procurement Operations Site Lead (m/f/d) Penzberg & Cape Town. You are accountable for the procurement of direct services and business partnering support for the product manufacturing operations at the Penzberg site and Cape Town site.

• You coordinate local procurement activities of the team
• You provide a consistent and timely supply of raw materials, finished/semi-finished goods
• You enable the continuous improvement of the supply base to ensure high product quality standards at optimal cost with minimal sustainability impact

YOUR TASKS

• You ensure business alignment and lead procurement business partnering activities at the Penzberg and Cape Town sites
• You maintain the links between local and global procurement activities, such as the collaboration between local teams and global Category Management teams
• Furthermore, you ensure the local implementation of global procurement initiatives
• You also manage direct procurement operations activities, such as security of supply, cost and sustainability impact
• In addition, you support local processes and technology deployment
• As a coach for procurement staff, you provide opportunities for professional development and lead the team across international boundaries
• You are an impactful leader representing Procurement in the Operations leadership team at the site
