Job Description
SGS is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the team in our office near Perth Airport.
Responsibilities include, however not limited to:
- Coordination of transactional procurement activity
- Development of procurement dashboard for analysis and reporting against KPI’s
- Classification of procurement spend to maintain data integrity and comply with Global standards
- Drive procurement Sustainability initiatives in accordance with Global & local targets
- Ensure procurement business processes comply with audit and legislative requirements and continuous improvement of controls and risks
- Communication and training for business stakeholders in procurement processes.
- Coordination of Supplier onboarding and compliance to SGS requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and familiarity with Oracle navigation and data management.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong business process and data analysis skills to drive process efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation.
- Strong understanding and experience in procurement principles and practices.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
