To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have completed Bachelor studies in engineering/business administration with technical background or
  • Have completed an equivalent further education as a certified technician or business economist
  • Have deep experience in buying/procurement and sourcing
  • Have deep oral and written communication skills in English and German
  • Have excellent negotiation skills and deep communication ability to influence others and to build relationships
  • Be capable to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
  • Be proficient in MS Office, SAP and SAP Ariba

Responsibilities:

As a Procurement Specialist (d/f/m), you will be responsible for:

  • Managing relationships with national and international suppliers for Purchase Order execution, managing problems and scheduling changes
  • Placing and following up on Purchase Orders including update of SAP/ARIBA and communications to stakeholders
  • Performing negotiations with suppliers to maximize savings
  • Analyzing assigned supplier portfolio to develop and execute improvement projects
  • Advising Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures in the own field.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problem
