Procurement Specialist
We have risen over the last four generations to become one of the largest family owned industrial pvf houses in New England. As the premier distributor of industrial pipe, we represent the top suppliers in providing a comprehensive product range: pipe, strainers, backflow preventers, steam traps, commercial equipment, valves, instrumentation, fittings & flanges, fire protection and specialties such as gaskets, pipe tools and machines, expansion joints and more.
As a Procurement Specialist at our company, your primary focus will be managing the purchasing process, including orders and transfers between our eight branches. You’ll work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery, while maintaining an updated product database. Coordinating with the sales team across locations is essential to meet inventory expectations and capture customer demand. Additionally, you’ll handle price changes, discrepancies, and inquiries related to incoming materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, demonstrating a solid understanding of procurement processes.
• Exceptional organizational abilities coupled with a keen intellect and a strong desire to continuously learn and improve.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, with the ability to manipulate data efficiently and effectively.
• Self-motivated individual with the capacity to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
• Prior experience within the pipes, valves, and fittings (PVF) industry is preferred but not required.

Salary: $60,000-$80,000/year
