Description:
In this full-time permanent role, based in Mount Waverley, we are seeking a Procurement Specialist to coordinate and deliver the daily procurement operational requirements of the organisation within the clinical and/or indirect space category. Through establishing professional relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, the Procurement Specialist will coordinate key sourcing events, conduct evaluations and maintain records as required. You will be part of the Procurement team and report to the Group Manager Procurement.
Responsibilities:
You will have:
- Previous experience in a contract management support role and/or clinical, supply or purchasing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in basic analysis using simple tools and spreadsheets to identify trends and asses changes in demand
- Commitment to self-development & learning
