In this role, you will be responsible to manage and execute Procurement & Contracting activities for Galp - Procurement IT Area, looking for cost-effective deals and developing long-term relationships with vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Procurement and contracting processes, ensuring organizational efficiency by simplifying them and ensuring the following consistency standards and procedures applicable to the role of Buyer;
  • Analyze data and prepare procurement strategies;
  • Ensuring that responsible sourcing is prioritized in the sourcing strategies;
  • Preparing and issuing tender processes;
  • Develop daily activity based on the plans, aligned with the strategic objectives of the group and Organizational Units (OU);
  • Management of the tender process;
  • Contracts negotiation to achieve the best value;
  • Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
  • Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key contracts;
  • Keeping up to date with trends, innovations and regulations that can impact business;
  • Undertaking value-for-money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements.
