In this role, you will be responsible to manage and execute Procurement & Contracting activities for Galp - Procurement IT Area, looking for cost-effective deals and developing long-term relationships with vendors and contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Procurement and contracting processes, ensuring organizational efficiency by simplifying them and ensuring the following consistency standards and procedures applicable to the role of Buyer;
- Analyze data and prepare procurement strategies;
- Ensuring that responsible sourcing is prioritized in the sourcing strategies;
- Preparing and issuing tender processes;
- Develop daily activity based on the plans, aligned with the strategic objectives of the group and Organizational Units (OU);
- Management of the tender process;
- Contracts negotiation to achieve the best value;
- Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities;
- Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key contracts;
- Keeping up to date with trends, innovations and regulations that can impact business;
- Undertaking value-for-money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements.
